Ghulam M. Shaikh, M.D.

Medical Director, MarSha MedSpa

Dr. Shaikh completed medical school from Karachi, Pakistan before proceeding to New York to complete residency at Cornell University. He moved to Eastern North Carolina in 1997 and subsequently to the Triangle in 2000 to lead his own medical practice, Shaikh Medical Clinic, in Garner. Dr. Shaikh has extensive experience in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and minor surgeries. He believes in building community liaisons and is a founding member of Mariam Clinic- serving the local uninsured population. He is also the medical director at Bryan Center Nursing Home. As a part of Wake AHEC, he trains medical students from Duke, UNC Chapel Hill and Campbell University. He has 3 boys and enjoys his weekends hiking trails across the Triangle. With his wealth of knowledge in medical anatomy, contraindications, and intramuscular injections, he is always present onsite to perform medical aesthetic consultations and procedures at MarSha MedSpa.

Joy Linkous, N.P.

nurse Practitioner, MarSha MedSpa

Joy Linkous is a nurse practitioner in adult gerontology. She is a graduate of New River Community College (AS in nursing), Winston-Salem State University (BS in nursing), and UNC-Chapel Hill (MS in nursing). Her medical career began in 2007 gaining experience in various specialties such as Orthopedic, Psychiatric, and Cardiovascular care. She believes that good health and happiness are a priority in life. She is excited and committed to promoting the medical weight loss program at MarSha Medspa developing education around nutrition and weight loss that helps patients set realistic and attainable goals. She understands the struggles with weight loss and works diligently with patients. Additionally, Joy has a strong passion for aesthetics and is trained in injectables (Botox, Fillers, Sculptra, PRP) and Laser hair/pigment/vein removal. Her goal is building custom treatment plans to achieve your unique goals and help you feel amazing, inside and out. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Christina Reilly, RN, BSN, CBN, CPAN

Aesthetic & Wellness Nurse Specialist in Garner, NC

Christina Reilly is an experienced aesthetic and wellness nurse with over 16 years in nursing, blending expertise in women’s health, aesthetics, and Post-Anesthesia Care (PACU). At MarSha MedSpa, she provides customized treatments in hormone therapy, facial balancing, injectables, and skin rejuvenation—always prioritizing natural, safe results.

With advanced training in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), Christina helps women restore energy, balance, and confidence through personalized wellness plans. She supports women through all stages of life, addressing symptoms of hormonal imbalance and creating personalized, wellness-focused treatment plans that promote long-term health. In aesthetics, she is known for her artistic eye, precision, and commitment to enhancing natural beauty. Her aesthetic work is rooted in clinical safety, anatomical precision, and a deep understanding of the aging process. Christina’s goal is to help women age with intention, radiance, and self-assurance.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys time with loved ones, local dining, breweries, and travel—bringing her passion for balance and connection into everything she does.

Carolina Candelario - L.E.

Licensed Aesthetician – MarSha MedSpa

Carolina is originally from south Florida, and has lived in North Carolina since 2000. She has loved fashion and the beauty industry since teenage years. She always wanted to be a fashion designer. Carolina attended Wake Tech community College to become a Licensed Aesthetician because skin care just became her passion. She has always been the one to recommend skin care products to her family, and friends. Carolina is certified in Microdermabrasion, PCA Peels, Genius RF Microneedling, Lutronic Ultra Skin Resurfacing, Obagi Medical grade skincare line and has experience in Laser Hair Removal, Chemical Peels, Intense pulse light (IPL) therapy treatment, Hydrafacial, and waxing. Carolina brings extensive product and service knowledge to the team at MarSha MedSpa.

Adamaris Sanchez, L.E.

Licensed Esthetician, MarSha MedSpa

Adamaris was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and is Mexican-American. She attended Wake Tech’s Esthetics and Technology program and graduated with a 4.0 GPA, She attended Grace Medical and received her certifications in laser hair removal, micro-needling, and radio frequency. She fell in love with skincare at a young age since she herself has and is struggling with acne, with a lot of trial and error she managed to correct her own skin and wishes to do the same for others. She specializes in facials, chemical peels, microneedling and more. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking her dog for long walks at the park, and video editing. Adamaris is bilingual and enjoys being able to help in both languages.

Ludyn Moore, L.E.

Licensed Esthetician – MarSha MedSpa

Originally from Colombia, Ludyn has called the United States home for the past eight years. A graduate of Paul Mitchell School in Utah, she became a master licensed esthetician in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the ever-evolving world of skincare. She is trained in SkinPen, Lasers and Obagi/PCA peels.

With a strong background in customer service, Ludyn is passionate about helping clients feel confident and genuinely cared for. Her calm, friendly approach and attention to detail create a relaxing and personalized experience for every guest.

Outside the treatment room, Ludyn enjoys traveling, dancing, and exploring new cuisines. As a bilingual professional, she is proud to connect with clients in both English and Spanish, ensuring everyone feels welcome and understood.

Mariya Shaikh - M.B.A

Managing Director - MarSha MedSpa

Mariya Shaikh has been a resident of the Triangle since 2000. She has an MBA from East Carolina University and has served in Finance roles within the tech sector as well as the pharmaceutical industry. She founded MarSha MedSpa in 2020 as an extension of services at Shaikh Medical Clinic. It is her goal to market services of MarSha MedSpa to the greater JOCO area and beyond. She also connects MarSha MedSpa to various organizations through volunteer efforts. Mariya has been an active volunteer in various organizations across the Triangle including IAR, ZFNC and WCPSS in addition to local churches and charity clinics. She enjoys cooking and traveling with her family.
