What is a facial?

Facials are deep skin treatments to rejuvenate the skin and minimize dryness, blemishes and wrinkles. Facials are intended to be cleansing, soothing, and relaxing. The process includes thorough cleansing of face using a cleanser best suited to your skin condition followed by steam and massage. The goal is to remove the dull outer layer of skin, improve blood circulation and address surface dryness. During exfoliation, both blackheads and whiteheads are softened so they can be easily extracted. Lastly, a face mask tightens and tones the skin.

How long is each treatment? How many treatments will I need?

Facials can last anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour depending on your treatment choice. Your Aesthetician can recommend how frequently you should receive facials for optimal skin care.

What can I expect after treatment?

Your aesthetician will make recommendations on a post treatment plan customized to your skin condition and goals.

Brightening Facial

This facial is a gentle treatment to help brighten areas of concern. The brightening facial incorporates botanical extracts, plant-derived ingredients and peptides to help brighten pigmentation on face. The Esthetician at MarSha Medspa will aim to recommend course of action to address correction of hyperpigmentation/PIH.

Acne Reduction Facial

Acne reduction facial is geared towards reducing the appearance of acne and blemishes on acne prone skin. The acne reduction facial includes deep cleansing of pores, which helps get rid of excess oil. This facial not only helps treat acne and pimples, but also helps lighten the acne scars. The Esthetician at MarSha Medspa will employ ingredients such as Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide and Neem Leaf Extract to improve blemishes, reduce surface oil and purify skin.

Organic Facial

In this facial, our Esthetician uses the purest organic skincare ingredients including soothing ORMEDIC botanicals for healthy, balanced looking skin. This facial will leave the skin moisturized, encouraging an enhanced appearance. This facial is effective for all skin types, geared especially towards unbalanced and sensitive skin types.

Hydrating Facial

Ideal for all skin types that need more moisture without the added feeling of oil, this this facial will address hydration by removing impurities while using essential vitamins to quench the skin. This leaves the skin feeling renewed, silky, and smooth.

Anti Aging

The anti-aging skin care products in this facial utilize alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), nutripeptides®, brightening ingredients and antioxidants to improve the look of skin. Skin conditions such as dullness or photo damage can be cosmetically improved with this facial and the consistent use of anti aging products in this regimen.

Express Facial

This is a customized facial for clients needing a quick refresher but are short on time. The goal of this facial is to cleanse and tighten skin while smoothing out surface wrinkles. (Price $60)
