PRF Injections in Garner, NC

PRF injections use a fibrin-containing preparation from your own blood. MarSha MedSpa assesses selected under-eye and facial skin concerns with the aim of gradual improvement in skin quality and a refreshed appearance.
Compare PRP injections and dermal fillers when discussing your goals.

Look at the cause of under-eye concerns

Thin skin, fine lines, shadows and hollows can create a tired-looking under-eye area. Platelet-rich fibrin may be considered for selected skin-quality concerns after careful assessment.
Under-eye skin
Fine lines
Crepey texture
Around-mouth concerns
Puffiness, pigment and structural hollows need different assessments. PRF cannot be promised to remove eye bags, correct every dark circle or act like a contouring filler.

Understand what PRF can offer

A blood-derived treatment still needs a medical plan. Your provider considers your skin, existing filler, health history and the change you want.

Platelets and fibrin

PRF contains a fibrin component as well as blood-derived cells. Preparation methods differ and affect the material used.

Skin-quality goals

Treatment aims at selected skin concerns. Evidence is limited; predictable filling, lifting or lip augmentation is not established.

An individual review

Assess your response before repeating treatment. A slower growth-factor release does not prove a longer cosmetic result.

Your PRF injection appointment

Consultations at MarSha MedSpa take place in Garner, North Carolina, for clients from Raleigh, Cary and across the Triangle.

Assess the concern

Discuss the cause of your under-eye or facial concern, previous filler and your priorities.

Review medical suitability

Review medicines, health history and relevant CBC findings, then agree on risks, alternatives and costs.

Prepare and treat

A blood sample is processed for PRF, followed by the agreed injections when suitable.

Arrange follow-up

Leave with written care instructions and a plan to review the settled appearance and your response.
The visit includes assessment, blood collection, preparation and the agreed injections; timing depends on your treatment plan.

PRF injections: before and after

Matched photographs should document the preparation, treatment areas and settled timepoint. Early swelling is not proof of lasting improvement.

Progress and Maintenance:

Give changes time

Any skin-quality improvement develops gradually. Early puffiness can make the initial effect look greater.

Duration remains individual

Studies use different preparations and short follow-up. A fixed result length cannot be guaranteed.

Review before repeating

MarSha describes an initial review around 8–12 weeks. Further care depends on your response and the agreed plan.
( Is it for you? )

Is PRF a good fit for you?

Selected skin-quality concerns may suit PRF assessment. Prominent bags, significant hollows or skin laxity may need another approach.

A good fit if

  • You want assessment of selected under-eye or around-mouth skin concerns.
  • Your health history and relevant blood findings support the proposed treatment.
  • You understand that improvement may be subtle and the evidence remains limited.

Discuss before you begin

  • Active infection, significant illness or platelet/blood disorders may affect suitability.
  • Bleeding risks, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding require individual medical review.
  • You want immediate, predictable lip volume, major contour change or a surgical-level correction.
Share previous under-eye procedures or filler. PRF is not hyaluronic-acid filler, and its effects cannot be assumed to have the same reversal options.

Questions before you book?

PRF is a blood-derived preparation containing fibrin; PRP is platelet-rich plasma. MarSha offers PRF injections without heated albumin gel, and neither treatment is proven best for every facial concern.

It may be considered for selected skin-quality concerns, but thin skin, pigment, swelling, fat bags and structural hollows are different problems. Benefits are uncertain, and PRF is not equivalent to HA filler or surgery. Your provider assesses the cause before recommending a plan.

The course depends on your concern, preparation and response. MarSha describes a review around 8–12 weeks after initial treatment to discuss further care. Studies are small and varied, so neither a standard session count nor a six-to-twelve-month result should be assumed.

Blood collection and injections can cause discomfort, bruising or swelling. The under-eye area may look puffy at first. Recovery varies, so follow your written care plan and allow time before important events. Your own blood does not make treatment risk-free.

Improvement may fade, and early swelling can make initial fullness look greater. Research has not established a predictable rebound-worsening effect. New or persistent swelling, lumps or asymmetry need provider review rather than being dismissed as PRF wearing off.
